Ok, so I am going to start something new, each week, either Saturday night or Sunday after church, I will post a Bible verse on here. It will be the verse that I am memorizing that week and if you want to memorize along with me, come on! So for our first verse of the week.....
James 1:2-4 NIV
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Something BIGGER?
Can we be something BIGGER than we are now? Is there something BIGGER out there for us? Is there a BIGGER purpose for our lives than even we can imagine....??? These are questions we all have from time to time....so can we....is there??? The answer is YES! Absolutely! So many times we sell ourselves short! God has something amazing planned for us but we just don't see it.....So how do we see it?? We jump in. We go all out for our true Prince, the one that created us, the one who knew when we would take our first breath and the one that knows when we will take our last. He plans our steps, BUT sin can still get in the way of what He had planned and we can loose sight of what He has for us. Are you right with God today? Are you in full pursuit of what He has planned for you? If not, ask God to point out the things that are hold you back from something BIGGER so you can find that 'something BIGGER' for you!
Hope you guys had a Merry, Christ filled, Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
Hey Guys!
Wow! This month has gone by so stinkin' fast! It seriously seems like it should be December 1st not 3 days until Christmas! I did the Singing Christmas Tree at church and that was pretty much my month! Craziness! =D
Well, I am still doing my facebook fast and I just love how God works. He truly has spoken to me so much this month! Oh, I am in love with my Prince and I love that feeling!
God has been showing me that I am on this earth for a reason. I may not know what that reason is right now, but I want to do everything in my power to fulfill that purpose. So, I have to search Him everyday and spend not just 30 minutes during my quiet time with Him but spend everyday, all my time with Him so when He decides to show me what my purpose is I will be ready.
I am not sure where this fits in but this is just a thought.....Mary, Jesus' mother, she was just an ordinary, young girl to the world but obviously God saw something different in her or He wouldn't have given his only son to her. I want God to see something different me. I want to run this race we call life in such a way as to get a prize that will last, not a prize that will perish with this world. I believe Mary and Joseph were doing that and that is why they were God's chosen ones. So let's run this race together and when we get to our Heavenly home our Daddy will say, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"
Well, that is what I've got right now but I still have 10 days. And God can still have tons to tell me! =D

Hey Girls!
This week I started my yearly facebook fast! Well, I have only done it one time which was end of last year first of this year, but I am going to make it a yearly thing that in December I fast from Facebook. Facebook is one of those things that sometimes I let it take over too much of my life, so it helps me to just take a break and really spend time with my Prince!
So, the last week of November I was thinking about starting my fast on December 1st, so December 1st rolls around and I thought to myself, "Oh, do I really want to do this. I mean I have a lot coming up this month and I want everyone to hear about it" and basically I was making excuses for why I couldn't. But I decided, I know that God is going to bless me in this 31 days so lets go for it! And guess what? 3 days in....I have been blessed! The first day, I got out my Bible and my book (Authentic Beauty by Leslie Ludy. Great book! READ IT!) and I really enjoyed it! I read and I prayed and it was just an awesome time with my Prince!
So, I during this 31 days I will be documenting what my God is teaching me! I am going to have a lot to write. Last year I had like 8 pages full of stuff and I just can't wait to see all the things He is going to teach me!
I guess I will start today and tell you one of the things He has already taught me. I guess, the major thing He taught me was to not work Him into my life but to build my life around Him! I am usually not a busy person but lately I have been, and ,obviously, I am not very good at time management because God keeps getting pushed back. And I was thinking.....what if I did that to my fiance (if I had one. I am not engaged!) so if I did that to him and kept putting him off and not ever spending time with him, our relationship would be pretty bad and we wouldn't be getting married. So I am not going to do that to my Prince, the one that loves me unconditionally, the one that show me grace day after day after day. I am so incredibly thankful God is not human because if He were, every time we got busy and He got pushed to the back burner He would leave us. But that is one of the many great things about God, He will never leave us or forsake us even when we forsake Him! Isn't that awesome. He gives us time and time and time and time and time and time again to get it right! God is so awesome! He continues to amaze me!
So that is the big thing so far. There is so much more to come! Can't wait to share it with you! Merry Christmas every one!

Giving Thanks!
Hey Guys!
Well to start Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone has a wonderful day with great food! I know I had a wonderful meal cooked my wonderful mother.
So in light of Thanksgiving I thought I would talk about giving thanks. Living overseas completely changed my life and my thinking for the better! One thing I learned was how blessed (or spoiled) we are here in the United States. We have so much and we have access to so much yet we complain about everything and we want this and we want that and I am as guilty as anyone! But there are people that have nothing! Literally, nothing. They live in a cardboard box leaned against a tree for shelter but they are so happy and so grateful for the things they do have. And that is how I want to be! I want to truly, genuinely thank God for the things He has blessed me with. Will you help me in remembering to thank Him from the bottom of our hearts for the things we have?
Alright I am going to take my Thanksgiving afternoon nap! :DD
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I had a great time watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 2 years! It was so good! I am a major, major Thanksgiving....Christmas....holiday....warm fuzzy feeling kind of girl! So I love the parade and things like that. I LOVE Christmas and the cold and the music and the feeling. I love it so much I wanted to start playing Christmas music in September! My mom said no though :( haha. Well, that was just a random note about me.....

New Beginning
Hi,
My name is Kati Cunningham. I am 15 years old and in the 10th grade. I was an MK in Brazil and I have recently moved back to the U.S. I am the oldest of 4 children and the only girl. My brothers are 10 and 2 (the 2 year olds are twins). I love my family and my brothers; I couldn't have asked for a better family.
I have felt God leading me to start a ministry for a long time but just didn't know if it was the right time and didn't really know what to do. But here I go. I am praying for God to give me the grace to touch someone's life. My purpose with Beautiful Change Ministry is to encourage girls on their faith journeys and to help girls see their true beauty as a Princess of the highest King.
A verse I thought I would start out with is 1 Corinthians 12:13 which says "For we are all baptized by one Spirit into one body- whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink." I think it tells us that we are one in Christ and that there is no color or ethnic or social distinction as long as you are in Christ.
The part that says "For we are all given the one Spirit to drink" says that God has given all his people the Holy Spirit to live in them so their lives may overflow with the fruit of the Spirit.
One last thing...I wanted to tell you the reason behind the name. Originally, I wanted to name it "Metamorphosis" (but I couldn't because it wasn't available so I came up with Beautiful Change:D) anyways, I wanted it to be metamorphosis because I love the picture that a butterfly paints when you think about it. A butterfly starts out an ugly caterpillar but through a process called metamorphosis he becomes a beautiful butterfly. And that is what happens to you when you become a believer. You start out an ugly sinner but through Christ you become a beautiful butterfly, therefore, going through a beautiful change. I want to help you go through a beautiful change just like I have gone through and am still going through.
So I say all that to welcome you- whether red, green, black, white, rich, poor, healthy, or sick- to Beautiful Change Ministry. I hope you enjoy what is to come. :D
